P-51 D Mustang

Building the Model was a Pleasure, Parts did fit and instructions were easy to understand and helpful.

I build the EPP with a front Motor mount, so I can use a Brushless motor and be able to mount and unmount the Motor easily.
The Akku is located right above the CG (Center of Gravity) so I can use different Accus without CG-Problems. Therefore I extended 3cm to the cabin part.

The painting is made by airbrush and acrylic color, the Markings are printed with Ink on a waterproof sheet and cutout. The Lines are made with a Waterproof Pen and “weathered” with an airbrush.

Flying the Plane is a great Pleasure. Even I haven’t so much experience with ailerons, it was quiet easy, and I only had to add expo to the aileron servos. The airspeed range is from fast to slow quiet wide.

My used setup offers a lot Flight power. The plane is easy to control, but therefore it tempts to try more and more. But no Problem, my plane did “land” after those experiments harder than usual and nothing happened (other Planes would have been gone ;)).

Conclusion

It’s an easy to build and an easy to fly Plane. It’s a lot of fun for everyone, even for aileron beginners. It’s a lot of fun.
